11 March 2015 - A 48 member delegation of PAF Air War College, Faisal headed by AVM Farooq Habib, SI(M) visited PAC Kamra on 11 March, 2015.  The delegation was received by Chairman PAC Board Kamra.  A briefing was given to the visiting team, presenting the products and capabilities of PAC Kamra.  A briefed question-answer session was carried out during the briefing, which showed keen interest of the participants.  The briefing was followed by a visit to the factories.  The visiting team of PAF Air War College has highly appreciated the established facilities while their visit.  The head of the team acknowledged that Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra plays a vital role in the Aerial Defence of Pakistan.

03 March, 2015 - Maj Gen M Samerz Salik VCGS (B) and Maj Gen M Khalil Dar, GOC Army Aviation visited PAC Kamra on 03 March, 2015.  The delegation was received by Chairman PAC Board.  The delegation was given a presentation covering the scope of role and task of PAC factories.   A briefing was given to the visiting team, presenting the products and capabilities of PAC Kamra.  A short question-answer session was carried out during the briefing, which showed keen interest of the participants.  The briefing was followed by a visit to the factories.  The visiting officers highly appreciated the established facilities while their visit.  The VCGS (B) acknowledged that Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra plays a vital role in the Aerial Defence of Pakistan.

Chief of Nigerian Air Force Visits PAC


28 October, 2014 - Air Marshal Adesola Nunayon AMOSU, Chief of the Air Staff, Nigerian Air Force, HE Mr Dauda Danladi, High Commissioner, Nigeria along with other members of the delegation visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, PAC Kamra on 28 October, 2014.  On arrival at PAC, the dignitaries were welcomed by Air Vice Marshal Nudrat Kazmi, acting Chairman PAC Kamra. Soon after the arrival, CAS Nigerian Air Force called on the Chairman PAC Board in his office.  Air Marshal Adesola Nunayon AMOSU, Chief of the Air Staff, Nigerian Air Force discussed the matters of technical and administrative aspects.  Acting Chairman PAC also stressed upon the extended collaborations between the two countries in the field of aviation.  Later the delegation was given a comprehensive brief on the capabilities and products of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex.  Members of PAC Board and Managing Directors of PAC factories were also present during the briefing.  CAS Nigerian Air Force showed keen interest in the products of PAC in general and manufacturing of Super Mushshak and JF-17 Thunder aircraft, in particular and rebuilding of F-7P aircraft.  After the briefing, the delegation was taken around to few of the facilities at PAC.  During a tour to PAC factories, CAS Nigerian Air Force showed keen interest and appreciated the technologies & capabilities held with PAC Kamra. Nigerian delegation commended the valuable contributions of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra towards the Aerial Defence and development of Aviation Industry for the country by providing prompt support for various weapon systems of Pakistan Air Force.

Change of Command Ceremony


On 07 August, 2014, Air Marshal Javaid Ahmed, HI(M), took over as Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra from the outgoing Chairman Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, HI(M). While handing over the charge, outgoing Chairman conveyed his best wishes to all personnel of PAC and mentioned about the professionalism and vision of new Chairman. He expressed that under the new Chairmanship; PAC would achieve greater heights and serve the nation in a befitting manner.

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Visit to PAC


14 February, 2014 - Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Rashid Mahmood along with his delegation visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra on 14 February 2014. The Chairman JCSC was warmly welcomed and received by Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra. Soon after the arrival, the Chairman JCSC called on Chairman PAC Kamra. During the call-on, various activities of joint interest were discussed. The Chairman PAC Kamra highlighted that PAC Kamra is not only providing operational and maintenance support to Pakistan Air Force but it has become fully capable to support the aviation requirements of Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy in the similar manner that it is supporting Pakistan Air Force. A detailed briefing session was held at the PAC Conference room where the General was briefed about the capabilities and facilities of PAC Kamra. The General took an active interest in the briefing specifically on the PAC capabilities of Engines overhauling, Ground Radars overhauling, Aircraft Avionics and Airframe production. The General further appreciated the PAC acquisition of Boeing Quality Management System certifications and other quality certifications. The Chairman PAC Kamra elaborated the facilities of Engine Overhaul and Aircraft overhaul and emphasized that the aircraft, operational with Pakistan Army and Navy, can also be undertaken at PAC for scheduled maintenance and overhauling. The briefing was followed by a visit to PAC facilities in which the salient areas of capabilities were introduced to the General. The General took pronounced interest in the capabilities and showed a positive need for upgrade of Mushshak Aircraft fleet of Army Aviation into the modern Super Mushshak Aircraft fleet. The General acknowledged the fact that PAC is fully capable to extend its capacity of facilities to the sister services and will play a vital role in the enhanced defence operations of Pakistan. The General further assured of the highest level of support for PAC at every appropriate forum. The General hoped that PAC would continue to serve the nation with the same zeal besides making effective contributions to the overall national security environment.

Contract Signing Ceremony for Export of Super MUSHSHAK Aircraft to Iraq


10 February, 2014 - Today 10 February, 2014 marked as a day for signing of contract for export of Super Mushshak Aircraft between Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and Iraq Air Force (IAF). The ceremony was held at the Prime Minister House, Islamabad and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, HE Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, presided the ceremony.

 

The contract of Super Mushshak Aircraft was signed by General Anwer Hamad Ameen Ahmed, Commander Iraqi Air Force & Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman PAC Kamra.

 

Higher officials from Iraqi side including General Anwer Hamad Ameen Ahmed, Commander Iraqi Air Force, General Jabbar Ubaid Kadhum, Commander Iraqi Air Defence and HE Dr Rushdi Mahmood Rasheed, Ambassador, Embassy of Iraq graced the ceremony by their attendance. Higher officials from Pakistan included Mr. Rana Tanveer Hussain, Federal Minister for Defence Production, Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Chief of Air Staff Pakistan Air Force, Lt General (R) Tanvir Tahir, Secretary MoDP, Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman PAC Kamra Maj General Raza Muhammad, Additional Secretary MoDP, and Air Vice Marshal Nudrat Kazmi.

 

During the last five years, PAC aviation products have attracted various foreign customers during IDEAS, Dubai Air Show and African Aerospace Defence Exhibitions. In this context, a number of queries were received for production and delivery of Super Mushshak aircraft from foreign and local organizations.

 

The sale of Super Mushshak Aircraft to Iraqi Air Force is a major milestone in the export of aviation products of Pakistan. The sale of Super Mushshak Aircraft will also be supported by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra in terms of technical and logistics support. The export of Super Mushshak aircraft would further open new avenue for export of other aviation product to foreign countries.

Commander Iraqi Air Defence Visits PAC


06 February, 2014 - General Jabbar Ubaid Kedhum, Commander Iraqi Air Defence along with his delegation visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra on 06 February, 2014. He was warmly welcomed at PAC Kamra. The General of Iraqi Air Defence called on Chairman PAC Kamra. Various issues of bilateral interest were discussed. The chairman PAC kamra assured the heartiest possible support of PAC Kamra for Iraqi Air Force and Air Defence. The General of Iraqi Air Defence also emphasized on the initiation of downloading workload to PAC Kamra in certain areas. The call on was followed by a detailed briefing in the conference room where the delegation of Iraqi Air Defence was given a presentation on the capabilities of PAC Kamra. The possibilities to initiate further collaboration in the aviation industry related business were discussed during the briefing. The delegation took great  interest in the capabilities of PAC highlighted during the briefing. A short visit to PAC facilities was also conducted. The General appreciated the capabilities of PAC Kamra and took keen interest during the visit. The General said that it is a matter of pride for Pakistan that such a state-of-the-art aviation industrial setup exists at PAC Kamra. The General further added that with a capability of producing fighter aircraft, Pakistan stands among the countries producing military aircraft and prayed for the prosperity of the country  and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex.

13 February, 2014 - A group of 26 members Junior level diplomats from Foreign Services Academy Islamabad led by Mr. Murad Ali, DG Foreign Services Academy visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, (PAC) Kamra on 13 February, 2014. DG Foreign Services Academy called on Chairman PAC Kamra, followed by a detailed briefing and question-answer session at PAC Auditorium. The briefing was followed by a visit to PAC facilities. The delegation was impressed by the facilities held with PAC Kamra and appreciated the role that PAC is playing in the strength of aviation industry for Pakistan.

29 January, 2014 - General Akin OZTURK, Commander Turkish Air Force, his spouse Mrs. Tulay OZTURK, HE Mr. Mustafa Baber Girgin, Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan along with other members of the delegation visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, PAC Kamra on 29 January, 2014. While talking to the Chairman PAC Board Kamra, the General said that Pakistan and Turkey have a long history of bilateral relations in almost every field. The General further said that he is looking forward towards more cooperation between the defence and aviation industries of the two countries in the areas of mutual benefits. Later, the delegation was given a comprehensive brief on the capabilities and products of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex. Members of PAC Board and Managing Directors of PAC factories were also present during the briefing. General Akin OZTURK showed keen interest in the products of PAC in general and manufacturing of Super Mushshak & JF-17 Thunder aircraft, in particular. After the briefing, the delegation was taken around to few of the facilities at PAC. During a tour to PAC factories, Commander Turkish Air Force showed strong interest and appreciated the technologies & capabilities held with PAC Kamra. Turkish delegation commended the valuable contributions of Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra towards the Aerial Defence and development of Aviation Industry for the country. Commander Turkish Air Force prior to his departure thanked Chairman PAC and his team for the hospitality and expressed best wishes for Pakistan Aeronautical Complex.

Saudi Deputy Minister for Defence Visits PAC


21 January, 2014 - His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Deputy Minister for Defence of Saudi Arabia, along with his delegation visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra (PAC) on 21 January, 2014. The Deputy Minister for Defence Saudi Arabia called on Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman PAC, in his office. Later on, the delegation was briefed on the capabilities of PAC followed by visit to PAC facilities. During the visit, the Deputy Minister for Defence Saudi Arabia took keen interest and praised the efforts PAC has made to establish an in-house aircraft manufacturing facility. He expressed his best wishes for PAC Kamra and assured of having continued defence cooperation.

A High Level Delegation from National Defence University (NDU) Visits PAC


20 January, 2014 - A high level delegation from National Defence University (NDU) visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra (PAC) on 20 January, 2014. The leader of delegation called on Acting Chairman PAC followed by briefing on the PAC organization and capabilities. PAC Board Members and Managing directors of PAC factories were present during the briefing. The delegation was then taken around to PAC facilities. During the visit, the delegation took keen interest and was impressed by the facilities held at by PAC. Participants of NDU commended the valuable contributions of PAC towards the Aerial Defence of the country by providing prompt support for various aircraft of Pakistan Defence forces.

A Team of 65 Members of National Defence University Visits PAC Kamra


24 December, 2013 - A team of 65 members of National Defence University (National Security Workshop-15), consisting of Senators, MNAs, MPAs, senior civil servants, diplomats and members from private industries, visited PAC Kamra on 24 December, 2013.  The team was headed by Major General Noel I. Khokar, DG ISSRA.  The team was warmly received by Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman PAC Kamra A briefing was given to the visiting team, presenting the products and capabilities of PAC Kamra A long question-answer session was carried out during the briefing, which showed keen interest of the participants.  The briefing was followed by a visit to the factories. The visiting team of NDU (NSW-15) highly appreciated the established facilities during the visit.  Members of the National Security Workshop acknowledged that Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra is providing commendable services for the Aerial Defense of Pakistan.

Rollout Ceremony of 50th JF-17 Thunder Aircraft


18 December, 2013 - Pakistan Aeronautical Complex formally handed over the 50th JF-17 Thunder aircraft to Pakistan Air Force in an impressive ceremony held on Wednesday, 18 December, 2013 at Aircraft Manufacturing Factory PAC Kamra. Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was the chief guest at the 50th JF-17 aircraft rollout and launching of Block II JF-17 aircraft production ceremony.  The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Defence and Minister of Defence Production, along with the Chairman Joint Chief of Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Air Staff and Chief of Naval Staff.  Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan presented the project review of the JF-17 aircraft production, which was followed by the handing over of 50th JF-17 aircraft document to Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt. This was followed by the address of Mr Liu Yuhai, Vice President AVIC China and Chief of Air Staff Pakistan Air Force. They acknowledged the capabilities achieved by Pakistan Aeronautical Complex in strengthening the national defence of Pakistan through self reliance.

Commander Royal Jordanian Air Force visits PAC, Kamra


05 December, 2013 - Major General Malek Salameh Obeidallah Al-Habashneh, Commander Royal Jordanian Air Force, along with his delegation visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra.  On his arrival at PAC he was welcomed by Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan HI(M), Chairman PAC Board Kamra. Commander RJAF was briefed on various PAC projects.  Later on Commander RJAF was taken around to PAC facilities.  During the tour to the factories he showed keen interest and was impressed by the facilities held with PAC Kamra.  He commended the valuable contributions of PAC towards the aerial defence of country by providing prompt support for various weapon systems of the PAF. He also highlighted the possible areas of support required for RJAF from PAC Kamra.

PAC Participating in Dubai Air Show - 17 to 21 November 2013


Pakistan Aeronautical Complex being a regular exhibitor participated in Dubai Air Show from 17 Nov to 21 Nov, 2013. High end products like JF-17 Thunder and Super Mushshak were not only on the display but also exhibited their agility and performance during air shows. JF-17 amazed the huge audience including locals and authoritative crowd when the jets demonstrated skills via maneuvering high up on tail and rolling in the air. Super Mushshak also presented super aerobatics during the show and won big applauses from the crowd. PAC stall remained under focus by various countries and dignitaries who visited PAC stall and showed their interest in PAC products and services.

Delegation from UAE Defence Forces Visits PAC Kamra


07 November, 2013A 10 member delegation from UAE Defence Forces, led by Brig General Saif Jaber Saif Al-Aleeli visited PAC Kamra. Soon after arrival, the delegation called on Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman PAC Kamra. The delegation was briefed about the activities and facilities of PAC. All higher officials of PAC attended the briefing. The briefing was followed by a visit to the PAC Factories. The delegation appreciated the facilities which PAC had and expressed their views on future collaborations.

Federal Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain Visits PAC Kamra


Federal Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex as part of the visit of Defence Establishments.  The Minister was received by Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex.  Afterwards the Minister called on Chairman PAC Kamra.  During the call on, Minister was given an in-depth briefing into the working of PAC.  After the briefing the Minster was taken around to the factories at PAC Kamra.  Minister took a detailed tour of the factories and appreciated the proficiency and technical level of the workers and supervisors. The visit was very fruitful and the Minster assured PAC of all out help in getting their problems addressed. Chairman PAC Kamra added that all valuable suggestions and points indicated by the H.E Minister would act as guidelines for further enhancing the efficiency of PAC.

Commander Iraqi Air Force visits PAC, Kamra


Iraqi Air Force delegation led by Lt Gen Anwer Hamad Ameen Ahmed, Commander Iraqi Air Force (IAF) visited Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) on 28 May, 2013. Delegation was briefed on PAC capabilities followed by visit to various PAC facilities. Commander IAF while talking to Chairman PAC, appreciated the capabilities PAC has gained and also expressed his gratitude for conducting a meaningful visit. . He further said that there are various areas of IAF's interest where IAF would like to collaborate with PAC. Both the leaders agreed to form a joint working group for initiating the work upon the areas of mutual interest.



Contract Awarding Ceremony in IDEF Turkey


An impressive ceremony was held during IDEF where Pakistan Aeronautical Complex handed over first batch of Turkish UAV ANKA parts to Turkish Aerospace Industry. After the signing ceremony, Mr Muharrem DORTKASLI, President and CEO of TAI expressed his entire satisfaction with the skill and knowledge PAC possesses to undertake such assignments. He further expressed that many more collaborations would be forthcoming in the future. Chairman PAC Air Marshal Sohail Gul, while talking to media paid his gratitude to TAI for paving PAC's way to enter into a new domain of commercialization. He further said that it's a first step towards building up Turkey and Pakistan close cooperation in aviation and together we will prosper in future. Ceremony was attended by Secretary Defence Production Division Lt General (R) Shahid Iqbal and high officials from Turkey.



Signing of MOU with Milsoft in IDEF Turkey


Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Kamra, Interactive Group Pakistan and MilSOFT have agreed to collaborate for the development of an enterprise level information management system for the automation of technical and administrative processes of PAC virtually converting to paper less environment. Therefore, these Parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding in an impressive ceremony held on 9 May, 2013 at Istanbul during IDEF. to start their cooperation which will constitute a major milestone in the long lasting relationship among the defense industries of two brother countries, Pakistan & Turkey.
